There are many fascinating locations that even the seasoned geologist finds interesting.  In my opinion,  there is something interesting nearly everywhere in the CMCC.  This page showcases some common as well as the enthralling bits found in the CMCC.  Unless stated otherwise, all photos are mine.  The photographic images on this particular webpage can be used freely with the stipulation that no claim of authorship or ownership is made by those who use them.

If you are a student doing a paper on the CMCC and you are relatively close to Tucson, I strongly recommend going to Saguaro Forest National Park East.  Many fascinating and fantastic locations are easily accessible, and the structures and units found in and around Cactus Loop Drive are some of the most spectacular on planet Earth.  This page catalogues a fraction of some of the interesting (and less so) locations.  More information will be added from my archives as I find the time.  If the location you are interested in is not listed, you may certainly inquire.
