While studying the complex, I found an outcropping quite unusual (well, at least in my opinion).  It is a heterogeneous, apparently random, assemblage of red and green Rincon Valley granodiorite.  I know what you are thinking..."aw, that's just chlorite and hematite".  Well, if you look at the photos closely, you will see that it is not a phyllosilicate that is green...the feldspar is green!
