Professional Pinball Board Repairs:

The Coin-Op Cauldron has established a reputation for fast turn-around, high quality repairs and second-to-none customer service within it's first five years. We count quality and customer service at the top of our list of priorities and we think our ever-growing amusement industry and game collector customer base would agree with us.
Our aim is to keep those cherished games of yours running well into the future. Founded by an ex-Atari engineer with 25 years electronics and software experience including coin-op, you know you're in good hands. All boards are fully repaired, tested and then play-tested. Every function of every board is checked which is why we have a less than 1% return rate. All boards are guaranteed for 90 days and shipped in static protective bags and brand new boxes.

How to determine your board repair price:

If your board has never been worked on before, is not burned, does not have missing components and is not physically damaged then you can use the prices listed below to determine the actual repair price. The prices are fixed meaning that you will not pay more than the listed price providing the above criteria has been met.

If your board does has some form of damage or previous repair then we need to perform a free evaluation to determine whether the repair price will be the same as the fixed price or more expensive before we can begin the repairs. We will notify you of the cost and you can then make a decision to proceed or not.

If in any doubt, please call us. Please note that our hours are monday - friday 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time.

"No Faults Found" boards:

An $10.00 test fee now applies to every board that is tested and found to have no detectable faults. We need to charge this figure to recover our costs as we do receive a large number of boards with no errors.

If all the boards sent in for repair under one particular shipment are tested and found to be 'no faults found', the first board is charged at $25.00 and the remaining boards are $10.00 each. The $25.00 test fee also applies to single board shipments that are "no faults found".

How to send boards to us for repair:

In most cases it is best that you call and talk to us before sending in boards for repair but if not:

Place the board(s) in static protective bags. If you do not have static protective bags, wrap the boards in aluminium foil except for power supplies (remove any batteries on CPU boards).
Place the board(s) in a box that has at least 1 inch of good packing all around ( packing peanuts etc.). Do not use polystyrene sheet foam!
Remember to include a cover letter giving your return address, e-mail and telephone number.

A check or money order with the board(s).
Payment through Paypal after repair (we will notify you through e-mail). An additional 2 % fee applies.

Shipping Rates (return shipping):

We return ship all boards via Fedex Ground or UPS but can accomodate other shipping methods. Rates are as follows for a single board. Please contact us for revised pricing if you are sending multiple boards for repair:

Boards up to 12" x 10" x 1.5"	$12.50
Boards up to 13" x 11.25" x 2.25"	$14.00
Boards up to 17.5" x 12.25"x 3"	$15.50
