The car |
| This site is to document the progress of my car. It is a 2005 Scion xB. It has a PC with a touch screen in the dash with lots of custom fabricated and painted parts. You can see a list of the parts that went into the audio/video as well as pictures in the sections below. I will update this section as more items are added. |

The computer in the car is
based on a mini-ITX form factor motherboard. It is a VIA C3 1 ghz
processor embedded on the board with integrated USB 2.0 and IEEE1394 as well as
sound and video. It has 512 megs of RAM. I am using an M1-ATX power supply. I am using a
3.5" hard
drive that is 100 GB. The screens
are both 8" touch screen so no mouse is needed and I have a keyboard installed in the
passengers visor. The software I run is Road Runner and is free. I
use Cingular's GPRS service for my internet connection in the car. I am
using iNav iGuidance for the GPS software. |

I am the Student ministry Pastor at
The Refuge Church
in Lawrenceville GA. I have a passion for God, my family, and cars.
I am called by God to minister to teens and to their families. I am also
an ASE master technician. I earn a living working on cars but I consider
myself a Pastor by profession. |
