We got married and honeymooned at the Majestic Villa in Discovery Bay. We arrived the morning of Wednesday, March 2nd and got back to Chicago late on Thursday, March 10th. The villa pictures and details are below.

Discovery Bay is centrally located on the north coast of Jamaica 30 minutes from Ocho Rios and 45 minutes from Montego Bay. The breathtaking 2-story, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath Majestic Beach House gives a warm welcome to vacationers interested in fun and relaxation. Newly built in 2001, this architectural jewel gives visitors a feeling of home away from home with its friendly native staff and down-home authentic Jamaican cuisine.

The 6000 sq ft Majestic Beach House is situated on 1-acre of lush green landscape and sugary sands that lead to the calm and pristine waters. The beach is surrounded by many species of untouched vegetation. There are 3 native ackee tress, 2 almond tress, and 1 sour sapp tree, which are perfect for providing shade to sunbathers. This tropical paradise has the combination of nature and beauty for all to appreciate.

For adventure seekers, the tranquil water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, water-skiing and glass bottom boat tours, which are available upon request. Also horseback riding, hiking and bicycling tours are available 15 minutes away. The spectacular Green Grotto bat cave is 10 minutes away. For nightlife, shopping, excellent dining and attractions such as the popular Dunn's River Falls, rafting on the Martha Brae River, and party/sight seeing boat tours, Ocho Rios is only 30 minutes away. Guests may also purchase day passes at some of the resorts to enjoy additional entertainment.
