Introduction

The Raylink wireless LAN card is an IEEE 802.11 wireless network PCMCIA card which operates at 2 and 1 megabits/second. The WebGear Aviator 2.4 and Aviator Pro are also. More information on the wireless LAN equipment is available from Raylink, WebGear, and BusLink.

The linux driver for this card is written and supported by Corey Thomas It is not a product of the card manufacturer, Raytheon, nor do they officially support it.

Jean Tourrilhes has information on using wireless networks with Linux at Wireless LAN resources for Linux. He is also the author of the wireless extensions. These allow viewing and control of wireless LAN configuration without ejecting the card and reloading the driver.
