Currently, Corona Elementary offers both basketball and soccer in its organized sports programs. The boys basketball squad is coached by Mr. Misawa for the 4th straight year. The girls team is coached by Mr.Cortez for the 3rd year in a row. Both boys and girls teams are highly competitive and have been familiar faces at the league championships held at the Monclair Civic Auditorium every April.

The Mighty Eagles don't only soar on the blacktop but also between the lines on a soccer field. The boys soccer team is coached by Mr. Magno for the 2nd straight year while the girls soccer squad is headed by the soccer guru himself- Mr. Cortez. Both soccer teams feature energetic, highly competitive athletic teams.
