Week of 9/5/99:
- Thursday, September 9 - Triboro Pee Wee #4 opened the National Youth Hockey League season at the New England Sports Center with an impressive 6-1 win over a physical Starhawks team. Graeham, picking up from were he left off last year, scored Triboro's first goal (assisted by Jordan) at 9:37 of the first period. Midway through the second period, Jordan (with assists from Graeham and Nicole) added what would prove to be the game winner. The scoring was fast and furious in the third period with goals from Kyle (assisted by Matt) Katelyn assisted by the hard work of George. Graeham then potted his second of the game finishing off a great end to end rush by Kevin. John finished off the scoring assisted by Matt and Marc. Although not involved in the scoring, Eric, Maeve, Jon and Seth made key plays throughout the game. The goaltending team of Andrew and Arthur was outstanding, holding the opposition to only one goal.

Week of 9/19/99:
- Sunday, September 19 - Triboro #4 and Midstate #5 played their NorthStar Youth Hockey League opener to a hard fought scoreless tie. Both teams had numerous scoring opportunities but (with help from the goal posts) each goalie was up for the task. The most exciting moment came in the first period when Triboro was awarded a penalty shot after a Midstate player closed his hand on the puck while in the crease. John took the shot for Triboro and had the goalie beat on the stick side but unfortunately hit the post. Although Triboro was missing 6 players, Nicole, Seth, Katelyn, Graeham, Jordan, Eric, Maeve, Jon, John and Marc played hard throughout the entire game helping Andrew earn his first shutout of the season.
- Saturday, September 25 - Every year there are youth hockey organizations that take advantage of the system by placing some of their teams in much lower divisions than their overall talent level, just to win. They know that after the parity rounds are complete, the teams will be moved to a higher division but their goal is to still be low enough to win most of their games. Well, Triboro #4 met one of those very teams today, Twin City #3, in a game that should have never taken place. Twin City has 6 teams at the Pee Wee level and yet, put their number 3 team in the lowest Division of the NorthStar Youth Hockey League. One can only hope that league officials will see through this abuse and take the appropriate actions. Also, because this game would unfairly skew Triboro's goaltending statistics for the entire season, it will be omitted from the individual goaltending statistics.

Week of 9/26/99:
- Tuesday, September 28 - Triboro #4 suffered a tough loss in their second game of the National Youth Hockey League parity round to the Demons, who scored 5 goals in the first two periods. By the third period Triboro had picked up their game and were very competitive, especially the physical play of Graeham, Kyle, Katelyn, Kevin and Seth. Unfortunately, They could not put the puck in the net, losing by a final score of 5-0.
