the BB Gun Match and JOSC. Membership required by USAShooting
for the JOSC. The range is 12 miles north of the Cookeville court
house on Hwy 136. The range will be on the left just after crossing
into Overton Co.

RULES: Current NRA International Rifle
RIFLE: Rule 3 . 6
SIGHTS : Metallic sights Rule 3 .7
TARGETS: AR-5/10 (current edition will be used)
TEAM MATCH: The team match will not be a separately fired match;
individual scores will be used. Teams will consist of four (4)
members representing a club.
CLASSIFICATION: The NRA Classification system will be used. Classification
will be determined by classification card or temporary score
record book. Unclassified competitors will shoot in the master
Class. Teams will be classified according to Rule 19 .12.
ENTRIES: Entries will be limited to three relays (14 competitors
per relay). Post entries will be accepted on a space available
basis. Since the team match is a tabulation from individual scores,
team entries must made prior to any member of the team firing.
FEES: Individual fees $8.00; No team fees.

SIGHTING SHOTS: Unlimited sighting shots may be taken before
the start of record firing, but must be taken within the time
limit. RULE: 9 . 7
CHALLENGES: A Challenge fee of $1.00 will be charged for each
Challenge made (Rule 16.1) .
TIES: All ties for awards will be broken using Rule 15.3
AWARDS: None.
DIRECTIONS TO RANGE: Exit Interstate 40 at the Burgess Falls
exit in Cookeville. This is the first Cookeville exit when
approaching from Nashville and the last (4th) exit when
approaching from Knoxville. Proceed north on Burgess Falls Road
(this is also called Willow Avenue) to 12th street (about 3
miles). The basketball arena will be on your right at this corner
and you can also see the football stadium as you look east along
12th street. Turn right and proceed to the west side of the
stadium. The rifle range is on the second floor of the north
end
of the west side of the stadium.
NRA HIGH POWER RIFLE

ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone 14 years of age or older that is
a member of the National Rifle Association. State Rifle Association
membership is recommended.
ENTRY FEES: $11.00 per individual who is a current member of
the BEND OF THE RIVER. This fee covers all NRA fees, targets
and rifles. Rifles available will be the M-1 Garand . Entry fee
for non BEND OF THE RIVER members will be $15.OO which only covers
NRA fees and targets.
ENTRY CLOSED: Entries will be accepted to 12:30 PM on the day
of the competition. Firing points will be assigned on a first
come basis.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 14.
CLASSIFICATION: All shooters will shoot Expert
ENTRY FEES: $4.00 per individual You
will need to fill out an SR-1. in advance or on site.
STARTING TIME: Test at 9:00 AM. First relay at 10:00 AM. Lunch
will be provided( hot dogs and cokes ).
PRACTICE TIME: 8:00 AM until the test
COURSE OF FIRE: 10 Shots Prone 10 Minutes
10 Shots Standing 10 Minutes
10 Shots Sitting 10 Minutes
10 Shots Kneeling 10 Minutes
Match 1 Aggregate Individual
Match 2 Team 4 person teams

be allowed.
CHALLENGE: $1.00 per challenge . Challenge time will be for one
hour after targets are posted.
AWARDS: Trophy to individual 1st, 2nd, 3rd Aggregate with finals
and test.
Trophy to 1st, 2nd. 3rd PRONE, STANDING, SITTING AND KNEELING
Only one individual trophy per person. Team 1st. Trophy to team
2nd if more than 5 teams and 3rd for 8 teams or more.
