Be
sure to call ahead to confirm the class will happen.
The
cost of this carry permit class is $50.00. The permit is then $115 when
you apply at the Drivers Testing Station. The
permit is good for 4 years. You
must apply for a permit within 6 months after the training.
The two day
classes are 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM.
On Thursday you discuss the carry and why not to shoot and a 30
question
quiz.
On
Friday you will need a handgun and 100 cartridges.
*The one
day class goes from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. You
need to bring a lunch, a
handgun
and 100 cartridges.
The classes are
held at the Bend
of the River range. Go north on
highway 136 (North Washington
Ave.) approximately 12 miles from the court house in Cookeville. The
range will
be on the left. Check in the brown
office building.
