I don't know where the Hell you are, but Dana and I are here in God's country. The beautiful pacific northwest. If you think you know all about this part of the country, and it's legendary lush greenery, you should take a gander out my office window. From where I sit, there is not an indiginous tree to be seen. There are a few sage brush bushes and a tumbleweed ambling along. Nope, Washington State is not all green and wet. Here in the eastern half it is sandy and dry. Dana claims to be indifferent about this beautiful locale, but I know the real truth... ;-)

Surrounded by SAGE, SAND, and SUN in the southeast corner of the Evergreen state. Carl has lived here since way-back when in the '60s. His family moved here from a lush, rural setting on the north fork of Oregon's Yamhill river. At the time, he perceived Pasco WA. as the dusty armpit of the universe. Now however, he can't imagine why anyone would choose to live in a rain soaked, moss encrusted little backwater in Oregon.

Dana hails from the proverbial "Valley" to the north and west of Los Angeles proper. When Carl found her, however, she was working for a fruit and vegetable monger Eckert's Country Store on the outskirts of St. Louis MO. Dana and Carl met each other via 14.4kbps missives courtesy of Ma Bell, AT&T, and AOL. After some clandestine investigations into Carl's character, Dana pulled up stakes and moved across the country.

On a sunny August 26th, 1995, at a beautiful place in North Idaho called Wolf Lodge Creek, Carl and Dana were married. This part of the Pacific Northwest definitely lives up to it's reputation as a verdent paradise.

Carl recently retired as a member of the Pasco City Council, but in real life works as a Control Systems Engineer with the Fluor corporation. He is always on the prowl for a better job, so here is a copy of his Resume. In his spare time he pounds brass as an Amateur Radio Operator (WA7CS - Extra Class), rides his bicycle, occasionally attends a Mensa Meeting, checks into Colloquy, or the Triple Nine Society.

Dana works as the administrator and CFO of a local construction/building materials supply company. In her spare time, she cooks the household books, dominates Super Mario World, and thoroughly spoils Rose the poodle and Conan the cat (yes, he is sitting on a regular sized sofa . . . .Conan is a BIG cat).

Dana's collection of music CDs grows daily and the mountain of Rock-n-Roll threatens to push her computer off the desk.
When not listening to music, Dana makes her own. She is busy honing her skills at the piano, and is often in the studio with her piano instructor. The house is always filled with music courtesy of the Yamaha piano and Dana's dancing fingers.

Both of us like to escape to Badger lake whenever we have a chance. The photos at the link were taken right from our back porch. A perfect spot to relax, go for a boat ride, catch a fish, paddle a kayak, and dream of retirement.
