Brick pilasters with molded brick capitals separate individual six over six windows.

Each corner of the building has a brick pilaster.  Here you can see the molded brick capital.

The bricks were made by hand near the site of the Courthouse.  Bricks of this kind were often irregular in shape unlike our nice straight edged bricks of today.  To make the bricks appear to have straighter edges
