"Hostage in a Can" is a commercial for a product that doesn't exist-- a can that magically generates a hostage when opened.

The commerical introduces us to a troubled man who is about to blow himself and the surrounding area to smithereens. Armed only with his bomb, he confronts a security guard, demanding the money.

When the security guard refuses to give in, the bomber must get tough-- and he pulls out "Hostage in a Can."

With an innocent, disposable, hostage in his arms, the security guard has no choice but to hand over the cash.
