Some crazy awesome movies are cooking. The following are descriptions of the three most exciting projets, which will hopefully all be made by next summer. There are also various, smaller projects, involving people trying to travel at the speed of light, some kids running away from some people, and maybe something involving vampires or zombies or werewolves. However, they aren't that important, so let's focus on the cool stuff.
Beware The Robot // Summer 2005
The best movie ever is coming. Join Malcolm, Lauren, and their associate Diego as they fight a mechanical abomination in their city. The script for this cinematic masterpiece is finished, the cast is decided, and shooting is expected to begin in a matter of weeks. Lemme tell you-- it's gonna be a good one.
Beware the Robot is expected to be released in early summer, ideally before May 20, but realistically in early June.
Mansón and the Night of Blood // Fall 2005
Mansón has a problem. Some thugs from the hood have taken his right arm, and he's going to get it back... with interest. If all goes well, this noir-ish tale of revenge in an unfriendly city (with more than its share of Spanish-speakers) will be finished by the end of this summer. It's about time, too-- the story was written in early 2004.
If you sort-of like it when a man picks up a kitchen knife with the intent of killing people who have done him wrong, you won't want to miss this one.
Been Here, Got Them // Winter 2005-Spring 2006
Been Here, Got Them has been in production for way too long. Originally concieved as a pointless investigation into the art of stalking people and hitting people with chairs, this film has been rewritten so many times, it is actually starting to find purpose.
Ben is an unpopular high school student who randomly crosses paths will a mysterious man in sunglasses, who he can't seem to get away from. A mix of horror, comedy, action, and mystery, Been Here, Got Them might be a good film, if I ever finish revising the script, and if I get my act together enough to make it.
It could use a better title...
