A chilling thriller like no other,
"Special Delivery" is the horrifying tale of the frightening
alien infestation of a country home, and how any normal family can
become victim to an alien civilization's hunger.
The film begins
in outer space, a place where screams are swallowed by a vacuum-like
lack of matter, and where chills run down the spines of anyone who
dares to venture into the frigid vastness of the universe. The audience
watches in speechless fright as a black spaceship ominously approaches.
It is about to make a special delivery.
The chokehold on
the audience only gets tighter as a terrible creature, The It (codenamed
17), emerges from the foliage on the planet Earth, and begins to
march towards a quaint farmhouse. Once inside, it will embark on
a near-impossible mission, risking it's life to steal food from
the house's inhabitants.
However, for some
odd reason, no "Special Delivery" audience has ever been
gripped by fear. Instead, they have reacted with joy and laughter. Maybe
it's because the horrible creature doesn't look horrible. Maybe
it's because it's short, and all the audiences like to laugh and
make fun of short people.
This film has recieved an overwhelmingly
positive response from audiences young and old, and has gotten many
awards, including the Ellis Library Film Festival awards for Best
Cinematography, Best Comedy, Audience Favorite, and Best Film. "Special
Delivery" has also won the Kato Kaelin "Things That Go
Bump in the Night" Award.
