The Minnesota ISAC and InfraGard have Merged to better protect Minnesota

Chris Terzich, Minnesota ISAC Chair

Over the past 3 years as a part of the Minnesota ISAC you have been successful in creating connections between emergency response officials at the city, county and national levels for the protection and resilience of Minnesota’s critical infrastructure. Together, our efforts have produced trusted relationships that have improved the preparedness of our organizations and communities. In partnership with Kris Eide, Minnesota’s Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, we are formalizing these partnerships in what will be called the Business Operations Center.

The purpose of the InfraGard Minnesota Members Alliance (IMnMA) is to increase the security of the United States national infrastructures located in the State of Minnesota through ongoing exchanges of information relevant to infrastructure protection and through education, outreach, and similar efforts to increase awareness of infrastructure protection issues. We look forward to the synergy these two groups will create.
