(Note to the reader: This web page is a mock-up of the way university diploma information would be disseminated under the Digital Diploma proposal. Everything outside of this yellow box is supposed to look like a web-based diploma system. (Imagine that this web page is hosted by the fictitious Pearson University, a forward-looking school that wants its graduates to be able to prove their academic credentials to prospective employers without lugging a sheepskin through life. I hope you'll agree that with this system, the process of presenting credentials is more convenient for both the graduate and the employer, and more convincing for the employer than the presentation of a piece of paper.)
