A Project from Visual Arts Variety Pack Encore Class at Stone Academy

Previous Year's Mosaic Page

Mosaic

Students will draw a simple picture onto a concrete stepping stone, then glue small pieces of tile to the surface, leaving a tiny space between. The stone will be completely covered with colored tile, then grouted.

*Students who have done this project in a previous class may choose to decorate three- dimensional objects instead of a stepping stone.
