Leurens

circa -400 First Takesh settlers arrive in the area.
-300 By this time the native Ratheeri have been pushed out of the area and to the north.
-136 Creation of the Kingdom of Leurens under the Vhaston Family.
726 The emperor of Telargen makes a deal with the commander of the humanoid troops in north central Ankhvaris.  In exchange for governing the area for the emperor of Telargen, no troops from Telargen will enter this area.  Beginning of the Protectorate of Leurens.
727-740 Exodus of the vast majority of the demihumans, and quite a few of the richer humans.
760-763 1st Human Rebellion.
764 Humans are expelled from the military.
800-806 2nd Human Rebellion.
805 Humans are banned from any political office.
806 The Imperial Governor decides to concentrate the human population into designated "reservations", in an attempt to cut down on the remaining rebel guerillas. 
845 Humans are no longer banned from living outside the "reservations", the law was repealed in order to get more humans working on humanoid farms.
851 Law of Resettlement passed.  Since not enough humans have moved to work on humanoid farms this law is passed forcing the second and forth born son and daughter from each human family to resettle outside reservations.  The lords quickly use this law to make the new settlers serfs.
897-903 Several of the more powerful orcish tribes attempt to take over the government, complaining that power is mostly in the hands of the hobgoblins.
903 Most of the orcish rebels have died or surrendered now, several diehard clans flee over the border to the west.
912 Marriages between humans and humanoids is banned; the governor fears that such marriages are diluting blood of the elite.
914 The Imperial Governor bans mixed bloods from political or military promotion.
915-916 Minor rebellion by hobgoblin nobles who have married humans or are of mixed blood.
935 Zorgesh Ironclaw fails in a coup against the Governor.  Zorgesh is forced to flee to the Drakenscales.
940 Zorgesh Ironclaw with the aide of two other leaders overthrows the government of Leurens.
941 Zorgesh Ironclaw becomes sole ruler of Leurens.
942 Zorgesh repeals the ban on human/humanoid marriage as well as the promotion ban.
943 Ettiene D'Aliers is made Lord Chamberlain of Leurens, the first human to hold any governing office for over 100 years.
945 Law of Resettlement repealed.
948 Humans are allowed to enter the military, but forbidden greater rank than captain.
953 Humans are no longer legally banned from political office (note : this law was already in disuse before this time).
955 Leurens repulses an attack by gnolls on their eastern border.
959 Zorgesh Ironclaw dies and is succeeded as Imperial Governor of Leurens by his grandson Gravek.
961 Knowing he is not as popular as his father and not trusting humanoid politics Gravek forms a new bodyguard regiment composed only of humans.
976 Gravek Ironclaw dies and is succeeded as Imperial Governor of Leurens by his son Zorgesh II.
