City of Nouvelle Vhaston

The map above shows the city of Nouvelle Vhaston and it's various districts. Each of the labeled brown areas are given a general description below, note that numerous small streets and alleyways are within these areas and not shown on the map. The city is surrounded by a 50' wall with 75' towers.
A : The Citadel
This wall enclosed area is home to the Seigneur and his
family.
B : Noble Ward
This area is composed mostly of estates belonging to nobles
of Nouvelle Vhaston and seasonal homes of nobles of the old empire.
Ambassadorial residences are among the estates in B2 & B4.
C : Merchant Ward
The name of this area is something as a misnomer, but is
called this as at the foundation of the city this area (C1) was the first to be
built up by businesses (mostly catering to traders and travelers coming down the
roadway from Cavais and beyond. C3 also contains a large number of
businesses (including many of the higher quality artisans). C2 and C3
contains a larger proportion of residential buildings, home to those mostly in
the middle class.
D : The Royal Park
This is a pleasant area full of gardens, statues, fountains
and small woodlands. It is open to the public, and a popular place to go
and relax.
E : Government Ward
These areas are home to various governmental officials as
well as their offices. E1 has the tax office as well as others, and among
the offices in E2 are those of the Grand Seneschal.
F : Harbor Front
This area is extremely busy during the day as the inhabitants
work at the docks. At anytime there is usually at least one ship or barge
being loaded or unloaded as the Voire River sees a large amount of trade.
In the evening the fishermen return to port and start their unloading (if they
were lucky). Also found here is the ferry that crosses the river to
Pelitville, this ferry ceases operation between dusk and dawn.
G : State Farms
Louis, 1st Seigneur de Nouvelle Vhaston planned ahead when he
designed the city, laying aside certain lands that were to remain farmland (in
the beginning much of the land within the walls was farmland, though that
dwindled as the population grew). These farms are owned by the state and
their primary purpose is to maintain emergency stocks of food, they are not
meant to compete with independent farms. G1 & G2 are planted with
mostly grains, while G3 raises some swine, goats and chickens besides grains.
H : High Ward
This area contains homes and businesses of middle to upper class
inhabitants.
I : Foreign Ward
As the name implies these areas are home to a larger number
of foreigners.
J : Low Ward
Generally home to middle to lower class people, going from
the more well off in the north areas to the least well off in the south.
K : Warehouse Ward
As the name implies this area is full of warehouses, some
owned by merchants/companies others independently owned and rented to whoever
needs them.
Pelitville :
This small town began as nothing more than a ferry landing
and Pelit's General Store. Next to move in were a couple of
inns that catered to travelers who arrived too late in the day to catch the last
ferry to the city. The town now has about 500 inhabitants.
