Crimson Horde
History :The early history of the Crimson Horde starts with the foundation of Libreville. This town started as a home to refugees, trying to find a place safe from the roving bands of brigands that plagued the region. The first settlers were mostly small farmers and sheep/goat tenders. The town got the name Libreville as it was a place of relative freedom, from bandits, from tax collectors, from the self-styled lords who wanted subservient peasants.
This freedom lasted for several generations, but it was their very freedom that doomed them. Each farmer was independent, there was no central government, no police or army. In 880 a large group of bandits who had been forced to flee from the region around Brinden stumbled upon Libreville. It did not take long for the bandit leader to see that the town was ripe for the picking, and within a year all of Libreville was in his hands. The bandit leader settled down and became like the lords that many of the farmers' ancestors had fled from. This bandit lord did not have long to enjoy his new position as a number of the bandits were restless and he was overthrown three years later.
