Order of the Golden Dragon

This order was originally founded during the middle empire period of Anhkvaris but fell into disuse after the fall of that state.  In the year 970 Seigneur Louis II of Nouvelle Vhaston (under the advise and pushing of the Grand Seneschal) reinstated the order.  Under the new creation there are to be no more than 4 knight commanders and 20 knights of the order (not including the grand master) and these knights are be given greater precedence than all except members of the imperial family and the lords of the 7 greater towns of Nouvelle Vhaston.  The knights are expected to render military service to the grand master, along with at least 10 men-at-arms maintained by the knights.  Unless attainted by the grand master for criminal acts, one holds their knighthood til death, or granting of a higher honor (i.e. going from knight to knight commander).
