Jacques is the son of the late second lord of Ouxelle.  Since he was a child he has had dreams of being like his grandfather (founder of Ouxelle) and his great-great-grandfather (founder of Caveis) and build a successful town of his own.

    He began his carrier as a simple guardsman in Ouxelle, eventually becoming a patrol leader.  It was as the latter that he made a name for himself by destroying a group of bandits that had been plaguing the area for months.  He used his newfound popularity to convince several prominent people to support his idea of a new town upriver from Ouxelle.  Finally late last year he was given permission to begin his lifelong dream by the Seigneur.

    Jacques is 26 years old, with a well muscled body.  His black hair is worn short and he has small neatly trimmed mustache and goatee.
