Guien is a cousin of the Vramont family, his grandmother having been a great-grand daughter of the first lord of Caveis.  He has a childhood friend of the 2nd lord of Ouxelle and is very loyal to the current lord and the regent.  He has held his current position for the last 19 years.

    Guien is 53 years old though the cares of his office has prematurely aged him into looking far older.  He has shoulder length gray hair (balding at the crown) with a mid-chest length gray & black streaked beard.
