Q: What's the best place to buy chess books or equipment?

Chances are, right in your local town, many bookstores carry a decent selection of chess books. Some computers can be found at Radio Shack and many toy stores. However, the best place to buy chess books, software, hardware, equipment is via mail order. The prices cannot be matched locally and the selection is much better. Below are listed the best places to purchase chess supplies (including computers and software). Web links are provided where available.
