The early morning fog is breaking over the grange. A small hangar sits on the edge of a grass runway. The morning light pours into the open hangar door and reflects of the newly shined Cactus Air Force emblem on the side of Cannon Ball, a silver and red P51 Mustang. Gunner walks slowly around the aircraft giving it a close final check-out then climbs into the open cockpit. A parachute pack flies out of the cockpit and lands on the hangar floor with a dull thud. He settles into the familiar seat and his hands find the controls. Gazing out of the open doors into the clear blue sky over the distant mountains he says, "Another day in the unfriendly skies of Aces High!"
