While at Michigan Comic Network (MCN), Kris Lachowski came up with an idea of a choose your own plot comic jam. The first person starts a comic, leaving his/her contribution with two choices at the end. Then the first artist hands his/her contribution to two other artists who in turn leave their contribution to two other artist exponentially. This fun group project was dropped in my lap to be the first artist. This meant I had to create a world, the characters, the situation and a conflict that would lead to two choices. I decided on a story and wanted to work with a format that would challenge me. I wanted to break away from the standard web or print formats and work on a kind of cinematic level where the story would be presented out to the viewer.

After some turmoil in the group, I left MCN and decided to take my uncompleted contribution with me. As for MCN, Kris illustrated a beautiful story on its own right. My story, "Norlin Voyage" will be a story told in a series of scenes, the first of them is presented here.
