Before I published this FlatEarth online, I printed this mini-comic as a promotional item. This series was created to solicit to publications as an ongoing comic strip. Although never completed, this mini-comic collects the first four strips in high resolution.

Assorted Meats Preview Ashcan
Before writting and illustrating One Bad Day, before illustrating Pounded, before winning the 2002 Will Eisner Award for Best New Series for Queen and Country ... even before he started as a storyboard artist on animated shows such as Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, Sabrina, PB&J Otter, Rescue Heroes, Fat Dog Mendoza, and Roswell Conspiracies, Steve Rolston submitted comic to an ill fated anthology called Assorted Meats. This ash can preview comic features Steve's first published work "Marrissa" as well as his snazzy cover art. This comic was distributed at the March 1997 Motor City Comic Con by my comic label, "Biohazard Publishing". Other contributers include Widhey Lesmana (of Shadowbane Tales), Nancy Phapan, JuQuan Williams, Dorian Moore, Kevin Williams (aka Keniji Watanabe), Rich Orbian, Maggie Dongvillo, Cindy Stakley and of course myself (David Ano). This rare comic only had a 300 print run and is sure to be worth more.
