Sole proprietor of a graphic design business specializing in entertainment advertising, publication design and illustration. Produce illustrated manuals, posters, maps, charts and fund-raising materials for the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence, as well as for state and county agencies. Create advertising for local businesses involving initial consultation, conceptualization, layout, logo design, illustration, photography, production and presentation. Contacted and hired freelance artists and photographers. Designed a website showcasing a diverse portfolio.

Motor Specialties Limited (1985) Auckland, New Zealand
Produced promotional materials for a national company that markets and sells automobile parts and products throughout New Zealand. Designed and illustrated newspaper advertising, company logos, catalogs, store displays, packaging, brochures and circulars. Set up mechanicals and prepared materials for printer.

The Daily Cardinal (1982-1983) Madison, Wisconsin
As Graphics Editor was responsible for all artwork for the daily student newspaper of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (circulation 15,000). Supervised a staff of five artists. Illustrated features, news stories and opinion columns. Edited copy and laid out pages several times a week. Taught layout skills to staff members. As Managing Editor was responsible for and supervised production of a daily newspaper 60 hours a week. Supervised a staff of approximately 60 people. Helped establish a news agenda each day.
