THESE POSTERS advertise various silent movies shown at the Strand Theater of Madison, Wisconsin during the years 1925-26. These one-of-a-kind items are composed of stone lithograph printed paper images sent by the movie distributor, glued onto large pasteboards .5" thick, then handlettered by a local sign painter. They are in desperate need of restoration work, due to their being used as the walls of an air duct for over 60 years.
