How the GardenCam Works

This is a fairly low-budget operation. The camera is an old Sony 8mm camcorder I got from eBay. I took the worthless camera off a wireless XCam2, rewired it, and use the transmitter to send the video signal to my PC. I've got a Hauppauge WinTV video capture card in the PC. WebCam32 software takes care of capturing the images and FTPing them to the Web. WebCam World furnished the instructions on how to set it all up.
