these numbers will go up as time goes on. ^_^
A little background info on me if you're interested:
I've always loved animation since as far back as I can remember. (Isn't this how all Cel sites start out? :p) I was fascinated by how fluently they could make a picture move. O_o (Deer in headlights gaze.) Anime & Disney are at the top of their game in my book, their only rivals being one another. I rediscovered Anime back in 96 when at a party someone popped in Wicked City & Vampire Hunter D. Every weekend after that my friend and I would rent a different anime. This is how I came across Devil Hunter Yohko and she was the first Anime that I liked enough to buy. ^_^
When Sailor Moon came on Cartoon Network I hardly took notice, it sounded pretty dumb from what I had glimpsed at that point. (It was the dub after all. :p) I always left the T.V on after Thundercats while I did my homework, and one day, whilst being lazy and avoiding it (sans Usagi), I decided to actually watch a whole episode of SM, which just happened to be "A Crystal Clear Destiny", one of the few dubs to turn out decent. For the first time I saw that there must be a deeper story to Sailor Moon. I started searching the internet, ordered some fansubs, and the rest is history! ^_^
When I discovered that you could own cels from your favorite anime I was thrilled! ^_^ I had taken an animation class and even made my own cel but I had no idea that studios actually released them to the public. I'm glad that they do, because each of my cels brings so much joy to my life, they are my little rays of sunshine on acetate. :p
I first made my Lunatic's Links page out of necessity. I was living with my parents at the time and my dad said that if I didn't do something about all of my favorites links, he would do something for me..... So rather than lose them all I made a web page for them. ^_^ That way I only had one link in favorites. :p When I finally decided to put up a cel gallery I fixed up my links page and included it so that everyone can use it if they so wish! ^_^ Enjoy!
Special Thanx:
My husband Brian, who lovingly built these pages to my specifications and who spoils me rotten by allowing me to buy all my purty shiny cels! ^_^
Our friend Paul and my parents for being kind enough to let us use their scanners until we got our own.
