I bought this
cel without noticing the missing paint on the bow, but after
receiving her I just couldn't bare to part with such a cute and
innocent face. (The eyes sucked me in) That being said, I had to
laugh when I found the scene this was from. ChibiUsa smugly looks on,
and offers no help as Usagi carries home groceries that are way to
heavy for her. Little brat.......>:)
The matching
sketch (below), is stuck to the cel but reversed so it can be
displayed as a solem reminder of what happens when some careless
individual decides it would be a good idea to seperate the sketch and
cel in one fell sweep....T_T This caused the affore mentioned paint
loss to the bow, as well as a tiny bit of loss to the hair. When I
got the poor thing she was stuck to an ugly red cardboard background,
but I was able to seperate her without causing any further
damage.....only to have her accidently get stuck to the sketch again.
^_^' Ah well, she will remain that way for the moment. I like
the fact that you can see the detail of her brooch, though strangely
you can't see it in the actual episode.....who knows why animators do
what they do? ^_- Even with all of the damage I got her for a pretty
good deal, and I am very happy with her!
