The tavern's bartender was in need of a vacation so I rolled
aboard the train and headed out to British Columbia in October of '98. During the trip, the train made a
stop in Havre, Montana, where I was met at the station by Larry and his wife Linda.
Those of you who chat know Larry as Lofat. We had a real nice visit and I was given a care package
of good food to enjoy on the remainder of the train ride,
including a bottle of delicious honey wiess beer. At Lofat's website,
especially those from out east, you'll see that the wild, wild, west is still alive and kickin'.
Proust Larry and Linda.......thanx.
