| After leaving Brock and Virginia's, we headed across scenic western Nebraska and eastern Colorado. We drove almost 200 miles on a very hot day before we found a place that served cold beverages and hot food. Last Chance, Colorado...aptly named. This picture was taken from the parking lot of the Dairy King looking towards the downtown of this thriving metropolis. A couple of dilapidated, boarded up buildings and rusting trailers made up most of the greater metro area. I may consider retiring here... |
