1986 Dodge Omni GLH

2.2L Turbo Charged 4cyl.

Well, here it is. The newest addition to my collection of toys. An '86 GLH. From the factory it's a potent little beast, nicknamed GLH, which stands for Goes Like Hell.  For a car barely weighing in at 2000lbs, it's stock 150hp turbocharged engine really moves it along nicely. This car has however been already modded slightly with a new intake, larger throttle body, larger fuel pump, 2.5" exhaust, and a front mount intercooler.  Running a strong 10psi right now, the car goes much better than stock, and will surprise a lot of cars on the road. By next spring, I hope to have installed larger injectors and a new ECU from FWD Performance which will up the boost to 16-18psi, and correct all the fuel curves and ignition to really make this car GO LIKE HELL!  Other future plans including repainting it back to it's original Santa Fe Blue color, and sprucing up the old tattered interior a little. The car came from Florida (hence the palm trees) and is nice and rust free on the entire bottom!  It was a long, hot drive back from FL in 101 degree temps with no cruise control, no AC, and not even a radio. But it seems to be well worth it!

Sara, looking lovely, next to the beautiful car... that's  a tough choice...

The trip was not all business though, we did manage to have a little fun with our Ocean Front suite!!

our own whirlpool hot tub, in the room!

the water was actually WARM, like bathtub warm! well, it was almost 100degrees! so that makes sense I guess.

our couch... don't know what we needed that for... we spent the day in ocean!
