Pics of car being torn down for paint
Today I started with an 8" orbital sander and some 36 grit sand paper! Took down the paint real quickly! Then moved to a 6" DA sander with some 120grit on it to remove the major scratches from the 36grit. Right now my friend is welding shut the rivet holes from the door trim panels, welding in the holes from the rear hatch trim piece, and filling in any minor dents in the doors. Later this week I'll be removing the door handles and mirrors and finishing sanding in those areas, then putting down a nice thick coat of 2K primer/sealer.

Day 2 & 3
Alot of work got done in the past few days. The holes in the doors got welded shut, the rub strips taken off, the door handles and mirrors are now off too. It has been DA'd down and is almost ready to prime. Only a few more small dings to be filled, and then blocked. Hopefully more pics once it's primed.
