After it has been professionally painted, replace it into the
area it was built for. I chose to make some custom amp racks and cover it
all in black vinyl. I built all the trim pieces with 1/4" MDF, and I used
1/4" foam between the wood and vinyl for a "soft to the touch" feeling!

I even sunk my component amp into the back half of the wheel well (this was planned all along) so that I still have enough room back there for a duffle bag or two for going on road trips. Mainly for going to the Diamond Star Shootout in Ohio, but other shorter trips will benefit as well!

I had a piece of Lexan engraved with the /////Alpine Logo to use
as a cover for the amp down there

If you have something you would like to add to this "how-to", please email me and I'll be more than happy to add it!
Any further questions can be directed towards me personally via email. However, please use common sense when asking questions. Also, trial & error is the best way to learn! But if you cannot seem to figure something out, I am a fairly 'willing-to-help' person. Good luck with your project, and feel free to send me pictures throughout the process! I love to see other's work! I hope this page helped a little at least. Hell, I'll even host your pictures here on my web space if you wish to display them, or use them for your own little helpful tips for others.
