The Respite is a This series of photo's depicts the RESPITE sailing on the city reservoir in Altus, OK on Friday the 13th of March 1998. Winds on that day were from 14 to 20 knots as is evident from the heeled over shots. Each photo is linked to it's

Victor Model products. My (then 13 year old) son learned to sail it passably in about 3 minutes. |

| Now I've had time to modify the deck a bit, and repaint the hull, take a look, notes follow... | ||
| Photo here The original gooseneck was just two screw eyes that interlocked, this allowed the main boom to roll over at times and lock up. |
![]() I put in a second mast screw eye and ran a small bolt down through the three eyes |

![]() I replaced the original hooks for the mast shrouds with a screw eye and adjustable clevis to clip through the screw eye As I was doing this, I noticed the sad appearance of the original deck finish |
