This is my current project car:

1956 Dodge Coronet 2 door Club Coupe

The goal of this project is to create a combination of body and engine vintage parts that could have been assembled by the Chrysler Corporation in 1956:

1.  Car: most basic and lightest model, a Coronet Club Coupe, 3350 lbs.

2.  No options: no heater, no radio, no power steering. Will have power brakes for safety. Dual master cylinder and front disk conversions.

3.  Chrysler 392 Hemi engine, Hot Heads aluminum heads. TorqueFlight 727 automatic transmission with pushbutton shifter.

4.  With a slightly modified engine (around 550 hp), the computer model predicts 11.5 seconds at 120 mph for the quarter mile.
