About our congregation

WELCOME to the UUFGC. We are a liberal religious group which believes the search for truth is both necessary and unending. We see orthodoxy as often exclusive and inappropriate as we face life in a changing world. We embrace individual liberty of thought and action. Our faith is free from creed, dogma, and reliance on superstition. It is affirmative and inclusive and recognizes the dignity of humankind and its potential for self-improvement. While we respect the tested truths of tradition, we are pledged to use our individual capacities of thought, reason and moral judgment to evaluate the advancing and changing knowledge of our world. We are also a member fellowship and subscribe to the seven principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
