The drain plug for the potable water tank is dead center underneath the camper. The only way to flush and drain the tank was to slide under and take the plug out. Can't you just imagine pulling the plug and trying to get out of the way of the water. I eliminated this by putting a drain line with on/off valve to street side of camper. I also put a end on the line that I can attach a hose to to drain water where I want it to go. All this is shown in the following pictures.
I used a 900 elbow out of the tank then two 450 to alien the pipe
with the cross member of the camper so I could use the
hole already there to attach the pipe hanger.
The valve is easy to use, alien the handles with pipe for open, straight up and down for closed.

I screwed a plastic hose cap on the line to keep the threads clean of road debris.

No more sliding underneath the camp to drain and santize the potable water tank.
