YOU KNOW YOU’RE CRAZY ABOUT THE NEWSIES IF…

  1. You watch the movie just to see one certain character.
  2. You have to buy a Newsie hat (I own one)
  3. You can quote the entire movie from memory.
  4. You sow yourself a vest (I recently did this, cutting up an old button-down dress)
  5. You’re in the movie…really you are!!! See me in the back! Oh man, you missed it!
  6. The favorites menu on your computer is full of Newsies sites to visit.
  7. You argue over who is the best-looking (Mush, Mush, Mush!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe I made my point.)
  8. You make your friends watch it, turning them into fans.
  9. If your friends aren’t fans right away, you keep making them watch it until they are.
  10. You’re proud to wear your creation in public - #4
  11. You talk in a New York accent and don’t even realize it (This happened to me once)
  12. Your other siblings are beginning to think that you’re crazy.
  13. You download mp3s off the Internet until you find the soundtrack and order it.
  14. Instead of writing ‘much’ when you’re writing, you find yourselves writing ‘Mush’. I can’t count the number of times I’ve done that.
  15. When listening to the soundtrack, you cry when it comes to the part where Crutchy gets taken away.
