Mike Nesmith is always seen associated with writing many of his own songs as well as singing them. The way he brings the true meaning of his songs into words has always amazed me. Even in his simplest songs, you can see where he gets the inspiration. Not all of them are about life experiences, but the wording of the songs are understandable and also prove that he is a musical genius. His talent is revealed every time I listen to one of the songs that he wrote, even if someone else is singing it.
