Divine Leo (Ramblers Richard Lionheart x Kingsleys Sea Coral)

Leo... Leo is our purebred Cleveland Bay colt. Leo is out of Kingsleys Sea Coral (deceased) by the stallion Ramblers Richard Lionheart.
Leo spends most of his time hanging with our Cleveland Bay Sporthorse Dexter, eating, and trying to manipulate anyone into giving him attention. We've been leading/ponying him out on trail, working with him in hand and have started ground driving him. We try to take Leo out on as many field trips as we can. The objective is to get him used to being around other horses, new places and experiences. We take him to any shows we can find in the area (and not so in the area) to get him used to the show ring. We hope he'll spend a lot of time there in the future.

  • 9/23/06 Carolina's Horse Show Circuit @ Brandywine - We thought they had a halter class, but they no longer do (we were looking at an old class sheet), so we just walked around and watched a few of the hunter classes. The show secretary loved Leo!

    Leo at the Hoof-N-Holler...

    Ramblers Richard Lionheart (Leo's Sire)... This is a photo of the first time I met Ramblers Richard Lionheart at Idlehour Stud. Marilyn has been breeding Cleveland Bays for a long time and it was a pleasure to have her show us her beautiful horses. After our farm tour, we were delighted to have Marilyn's son Hunter show us how talented Richard is on a hunt course. Please excuse my horrible photography skills - it was very hard to capture Richard's beauty and grace with my slow digital camera.
