John Germany's will of 1807 in Georgia lists Eleanor as his daughter but her birthdate is unknown. She was undoubtedly born in Georgia, as John spent his entire married life with his wife Elizabeth in the area.

The name of Eleanor's spouse is unknown, but her children also have the surname GERMANY, so either she married someone with the same surname or her children were illegitimate. Her will mentions a daughter Clarissa Germany and a son Thomas Germany.

Eleanor's will was dated 1814 and probated in 1816. Her son Thomas served as administrator before he moved to MS, though the will names James Luke, a neighbor to Eleanor's late father, as appointee.
