In June of 2001, we bought our first house. Although we looked at over a dozen houses, we saw the one we bought on the first day. Our first impression as we pulled into the drive was "What an ugly house!" All we could see was a blank brick wall and the garage door. Once we went inside, though, we fell in love. All of the rooms - except the kitchen and the bathrooms - have floor-to-ceiling windows that look out into a yard full of trees. Actually, there are so many trees, that we have trouble growing grass in the backyard; we get just weeds and moss. I can tell that gardening is going to become one of my hobbies....but not yet!
