Investigations
Although I write novels on the subject of cryptozoology, I have long been known for the depth of study I conduct into my subject matter. To me, cryptofiction has the same level of obligation to remain true to what can be extrapolated from what is known, as the science fiction offered in its heyday by the likes of Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov.
My purpose is to advance what is known, by making the reader aware of what is already available on the topic, but also offer what my conclusions are regarding its origin and nature. Many enjoy what I have to say, some are educated, and a few are concerned about my conclusions. I do not go by what others have to say on the subject, unless my findings support their conclusions. More often than not, I find an alternative to what others accept because it is the popular notion.
findings
I have had the opportunity of becoming friends or acquaintances with many of the foremost researchers and witnesses in the field of cryptozoology. I find them to be sober-minded, serious investigators, who either experienced crypids first hand, or chronicled the many native legends, historical records and eyewitness accounts of others.
I would like to present below some of my own findings, based on the variety of walkers, fliers and swimmers that I have had the pleasure of coming to know through the expertise of others, and the witnesses who have shared their experiences with me through chance encounters. The following represents the research I did in conjunction with the cryptofiction novels "Shadow of the Thunderbird", "Track of the Bigfoot", and "Wake of the Lake Monster", respectively.
