FROM DENNY ONTO WALL

The #5 cruises drizzle

from graying, alabaster skies

past the Pink Elephant Car Wash sign.

The trunk pulses neon as

it spins slowly - an Art Deco Buddha

whose electric eyes have seen it all,

from the hump backed Hudsons

to the sleek Acuras.
