Birds are strange!

So yesterday as I came home from work I was driving up to my garage and there is this crazy pigeon sitting there looking at me. I'm getting used to seeing all sorts of wild life at night but this was odd. Usually these birds are pretty scared of me and fly away as soon as the truck comes close - not this one. It just sat there the whole time I parked my truck - only about a foot away from the front. After I got out of the truck it continued to sit there and stare at me even when I went to get a closer look. I manage to fiddle with it for at least 10 or 15 minutes until I finally tried to get it to jump onto a stick and after I lightly touched it's back the bird finally fly away. I've never seen such a brave bird. Heck it sat there and let me take several pictures of it and these were using the flash. I guess I don't know a whole lot about birds but this seems odd to me. To add to it, though it did have a band on one of it's legs so I'm sure either someone owns the bird or they are using it for tracking. Hopefully I will get a picture or two up on here in the next day or so and maybe someone can let me know what the heck is going on with this bird.

Well, I have to catch the Myth Busters in a little bit so I should probably run off. But before I go just an update on my money making ploys - still nothing but I have yet to give up.
